Andrew Gorecki is a cybersecurity professional and published author with over a decade of experience in technical, consulting, management, and executive advisory roles. He spent several years at IBM where he led investigations into large-scale breaches for Fortune 500 organizations and developed post-breach remediation strategies for clients impacted by significant cyber events. As an Executive Consultant, Andrew was also instrumental in building a cyber resiliency advisory program for IBM clients.

In his current role, Andrew is a Practice Lead at a leading cybersecurity vendor. He is responsible for the delivery of cloud technical advisory services in North America and developing new service capabilities. He combines cloud security expertise, threat intelligence, and unique methodology to advise clients about protecting their cloud environments against cyber threats.

Andrew is actively involved in the cybersecurity community. He has spoken at major cybersecurity conferences, including an ISC2 congress and Black Hat, and received a certificate of appreciation from the United States Secret Service for contributions to law enforcement. He is the author of Cyber Breach Response That Actually Works published by Wiley & Sons and regularly writes about cybersecurity topics on his blog at www.agorecki.net.
